Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients: Japanese sweet potatoes; Frozen pie sheet; Egg yoke; Butter; Sugar; Fresh cream; Vanilla.
1. Leave aside potatoes for the decoration. Wash the rest, then place in plastic wrap and microwave them.
2. Remove the skin, then mash the potatoes. Cook on low heat mixing in egg yoke, butter, sugar, cream, and vanilla, until it thickens to a paste.
3. Thinly slice the potatoes for decoration. Cook in butter and salt and be careful not to break them.
4. Defrost the frozen pie sheet at room temperature. Roll the dough and place on a tart pan, cutting off excess pieces and making holes for air to escape.
5. Fill with sweet potato mixture, keeping it level, then decorate the top with potato slices.
6. Bake at 220 degrees C. in oven for 15 minutes.


Matcha (Powdered Green Tea) Jelly

Ingredients: Matcha; Sugar; Agar-agar; Sweet beans.
1. Mix matcha and sugar together, then add hot water until the particles dissolve, blending well.
2. Put agar-agar into water, heat, and mix until it dissolves. Turn off the heat after it boils. Add the sugar and matcha mix and blend well.
3. While it is still hot, transfer the mixture into bowls, then cool and set.
4. Decorate the top with azuki beans that have been cooked in sugar. Canned sweetened azuki beans may also be used.
